You know what? Mine actually looked just like that, but I really do think I used too much butter...they were floating in a pool of butter. Too much? Then I realized (after the fact) that the butter spilled off the cookie sheet all over the oven and THAT is what smoked my house up!!
It was lovely tonight cooking salmon in there...it was a rehash of yesterday with smoke billowing out of the oven...ick!
Too bad you're not still in Ohio so I can taste what a good roasted pumpkin seed should taste like!

Almost makes me wanna gut the pumpkins on my front porch so I can roast the seeds!
