Belated Easter post

The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful weekend! A friend in Lily's class had a family Easter party on Satuday, which was so much fun and oh my goodness, their house was gorgeous. Three-story elevated home with a wooded lot and river view on the golf course. Good gracious. Thankfully, they are the most down to earth and casual people you could ever ask for. Very welcoming and fun and made terrific hosts. They kicked it off with an Egg Hunt, the kids jumped in the bouncy house and went down the slide (where all the kids proceeded to get "rug-like" burns on their backs...very strange), then spent the day making crafts and eating yummy food. Unfortunately, Lily took a spill down a few stairs and has some pretty painful abrasions, but she's on the mend now.

Easter Sunday was filled with surprises, complete with the annual Jellybean Trail. The kids were thrilled and nothing is more fun than seeing the excitement in their eyes and chocolate covered smiles, all before 7 am.

Yes, yes...the EB uses the same baskets every year. I've told the kids that we keep the baskets and eggs here for the EB, so he has free paws to bring extra surprises and candy to fill them!

no worries...the EB uses the same baskets here, too! I tell the kids the same thing....we leave our baskets out for him to fill!

Looks like a super fun easter weekend!
