Oh my goodness, the people down here are NUTS about Fireworks! Trucks every few blocks selling fireworks, news stories about fireworks, and neighborhood rivals over who is the biggest pyromania. Sean calls these idiots his "job security".
Anyhow, I guess it's the warmer climate that encourages the juvenile and annoying behavior, because I don't for the life of me, understand the appeal. Of course, on the 4th of July, I'm all for beautiful and brilliant displays that illuminate our night's sky, but the legal ones for crazed citizens that really just make more noise than anything....I don't get? At ALL times of the day and night. Enough. It's January 2nd, already.

I hate 4th of July amateur fireworks so I can only imagine your frustration!
