As most of you know, we have made the difficult decision to move back to Ohio. Despite loving the weather here, meeting wonderful friends, and enjoying the beautiful beaches and amazing restaurants, moving back home will be the absolute smartest decision for our family. Professionally, it is a great opportunity for Sean, academically, it will greatly benefit our children, and personally, it will mean better security and stability for all of us. Permanently.
Understandably, the kids have questions, concerns, and reservations, but all in all, they're excited about the things they remember and looking forward to the new things to come. We're convincing ourselves how much we love snow, how cute we'll be in winter boots again, and how warm and yummy a cup of hot chocolate will be. I'm having a harder time selling it to my husband than I am to the kids. They'll be happy no matter what.
Anyhow...2 weeks to go. Boxes up to our ears, to-do lists a mile long, and plenty of tears as we begin our good-byes. I know it's only been a year and a half, but it feels like forever and the bonds we have developed here, we may never find again. It's all good though....we're already planning our Spring Break :)
